The Irish Sleep Society (ISS) is a professional organization for physicians, technologists, physiologists, nurses and other health care professionals who specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in Ireland.
The ISS was founded in 2005 with the overarching aim to improve the standards of care of patients with sleep disorders in Ireland by promoting awareness of sleep disorders and patients’ needs amongst the public and relevant health authorities and supporting education and research into sleep disorders.
The ISS is a member of the Association of National Sleep Societies (ANSS) which is a formal body of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS)
